I have always been an introvert. I enjoy spending time alone, usually binge-watching my favorite Korean series or catching up on my reading.
But despite my love for solitude, I have come to realize that I still need people around me.
I have so much love for communities, knowing how much they have helped shape me as a person. From my triathlon friends to mommy groups (which covered everything from breastfeeding to babywearing and cloth diapering), the communities I am part of show me that with the right people supporting me, I can go places and do things I never thought possible.
That’s why when we started building Hush Angels, I knew what kind of culture I wanted it to have.
The goal was actually simple at the start. I just wanted it to be the home that people turned to every time they had an oiling question.
Wow, we’ve come a long way since we started!
Today, thanks to you guys, Hush Angels has become more than just an oiling group. Here, I’ve seen people come together to do great things. We’ve formed friendships and bonds that now go beyond oiling. So many people here treat each other as family.
So when I was coming up with ideas on what to do on my birthday, I thought about doing things that I love the most. That’s where the idea for a community event was born.
I would love to see you all on our upcoming Hush Community Day on August 5 at the Young Living Experience Center in BGC! It’s going to be a whole-day event with classes, booths, giveaways, and so much more!

We’ve prepared an amazing line-up of lectures, plus we have booths that cater to the different sub-communities within Hush Angels!
I’m super excited to see everyone in the upcoming event! I just know that this is gonna be one of the best birthdays ever.
